From 2002-08, he was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Weston Capital Management's hedge fund seeding business, where he incubated over ten firms and grew the platform to $1.2 billion. From 1995-2002, he was a Founder and President of Value Asset Management (VAM), a private equity holding company that took majority interests in premier investment firms. His resume includes the 1998 acquisition of Grosvenor Capital Management, a major fund of hedge funds firm, which was later sold to Hellman & Friedman. From 1990-95, Chris was a General Partner at Olympus, L.P., a $100 million mezzanine/equity private equity fund, co-sponsored by Odyssey Partners. Formerly, he sourced and structured LBOs and other acquisition finance transactions at GE Capital. Eli joined Harvest Fund's parent company, Moody Aldrich Partners (MAP), in 2002 and assisted in the 2003 joint venture acquisition of the Pierre & Co. All Cap strategy, rebranded as Moody Aldrich Focused Value. As a partner of MAP, Eli led the sales and marketing effort for the Focused Value strategy that resulted in over $2 billion in new assets from consultants, large financial institutions and direct clients. The Focused Value business was sold to Anchor Capital in 2012. Prior to joining MAP, Eli earned an MBA, Magna Cum Laude, from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Previously, he worked at MFS Investment Management in institutional sales and at Fidelity Investments in institutional client management.
